All-Important Nose and Tail Security
I like how my orange guy loves to sleep with his nose and tail all tucked up safely. He can purr super-loud even with his nose buried like that. Seems like it would tickle. If I am too noisy he wraps his paws over his eyes, like I am giving him a headache and he is trying to hold his head on.
I was talking to the sleeping kitties at PetSmart the other day - one nice soft calico was at the front of the cage, and I was twiddling her paws. She was deep asleep. Finally she did the head-hug with her paws so I went on to bug the other kitties.
Elderly, crotchety. Formerly nice person and great humanitarian. Nowadays, decades of dealing with Ehlers-Danlos and its varied and never ending sequelae have left me in poor physical shape and downright mean at times. Still a rocking good cook, even if I do have to sit down the whole time, though.
