Google Stats is mesmerizing
Someone on dooce told me about the stats button on here. Who knew. I knew there were a couple of my buddies besides my sister reading this but, hello Russia, hello Denmark (is that you, George?) and ya'll chime in and tell me something. Don't be shy, I'm fascinated by this.
I found the google stats a few months ago and it is fascinating!! I get very few comments posted, but I'm surprised at the number who actually read what I write. :)
I also just discovered google reader. I did not know that "reader" was a way that I could actually read my favorite blogs while I was at work. (Work blocks anything with "blog" in the URL). So I do a lot of my blog reading from reader, so you may have people "following" you that don't show up in your stats.
My child explained google reader to me but I still can't figure it out. Amy, I am wondering how someone in Latvia comes across your blog anyway. Look at your stats and see where they linked you from.
Elderly, crotchety. Formerly nice person and great humanitarian. Nowadays, decades of dealing with Ehlers-Danlos and its varied and never ending sequelae have left me in poor physical shape and downright mean at times. Still a rocking good cook, even if I do have to sit down the whole time, though.

I didn't know about the stats till you mentioned it, but people have been reading my blogs from China, Poland, Latvia?
ReplyDeleteGuess I better start updating them every now and then.
